I created Bottleneck Calculator (bottlesneckcalculator.com) because I kept seeing people waste money on mismatched PC parts — a powerful graphics card held back by a weak processor, or a high-end CPU paired with a budget GPU that can’t keep up.
What this site does
Bottleneck Calculator is a 100% free online tool that estimates whether your CPU and GPU are well matched. You select your processor, graphics card, RAM, and resolution, and it shows an estimated bottleneck percentage to help you judge the pairing before you buy.
Around the tool, I publish practical guides on PC building: bottleneck explanations, CPU pairings for popular graphics cards, and FPS optimization tips.
Keeping content accurate
- Guides are written from publicly available manufacturer specifications (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA) and commonly published performance data.
- Articles are reviewed and updated when new hardware generations launch.
